Yazula originated in 2005. At that time, co-founder Marcel Timmermans was active with POIhandler.com. A community website where points of interest collected by and for users.
The reflection of co-founder Jan Vroomans "Can we not link text messages to a geographical point, and that in a navigation display" was the rudimentary foundation for the development of Yazula.
Yazula is a media company and offers a new way of communciation. Messages are triggered by one’s presence in a physical location through the Yazula platform and App.
Yazula is the first company to launch such a location based communication concept. Any message based on HTML can now be offered based on physical presence of a customer or user in general.
Our business model is rather simplified. De business market will pay for the messages/notifications. The App is free of charge. However, the system is open to government bodies and emergency services. In this way Yazula let’s part of it’s income and benefits flow back into the community.
